Soca Camp. Jamaica carnival 2023

DJ Matt Camp has come a long way. From handing out his CD mixes, keeping his dreams and goals in focus, all the way to successfully staging (with his team) his first edition of “Soca camp”.

This first edition was a great way to start off the Jamaica carnival season, with many of Jamaica’s best soca DJs (including Matt Camp). The crowd was a mix of hardcore soca lovers up front and casual listeners in the back but the Djs were able to keep everyone happy with a great mix of soca and a touch of dancehall typical of Jamaican carnival events.

Overall a great first staging. I personally look forward to see what the future holds for this brand.
