YUMA Launch
Last night Yuma threw down the carnival gauntlet, so to speak. After a season of complaining about male costume combo number 1 over and over I have finally found a band that gave a damn about the male masquerader. Its now time to quickly decide which one of their costumes I want and start making arrangements.
The female costumes were bright, colourful and skimpy with no odd ones out or obviously ugly costume. This last one is important. While I may like one more than another there is no costume that looks like an afterthought or junk.
They also threw out several options for MALES!!! So you actually have a choice! different size headpieces, shorts vs spandex. I’m flabbergasted! It’s these little things, which for years has been the bare minimum for female jumpers that the males are finally getting thanks to Yuma.
I had annoyed the Yuma staff a few times with emails asking for this and that for next year….I wonder if I am the cause of their greatness:) Delusions of grandeur aside, I advise all males jumping in carnival next year to try get your crew to jump with Yuma so you can jump in a costume instead of ‘combo number 1’ (Yes, I’m that impressed). If they do the things I had suggested HERE…I will walk the streets recruiting people for them.

Micheal…You dont need fast fingers at all. see the next two posts to get info on concierge services for carnival. They will get and even pick up the costumes for you!
First, thanks to Lehwego for promoting proper male attire for Carnival. Secondly, thanks to Yuma for making my costume decision easy (Call of Duty). Now I just need speedy fingers at registration. I’m a newcomer to the whole carnival experience in 2012. Should be a vacation I’ll never forget!

I knew from I saw the males in YUMA that you and every other man like you would be in YUMA this year. Funny usually the females run to a band or section and the males follow but I swear this year I thought the men are going to run down this band and the females will follow! Harts came with it for the men too, but their greek gods bit has been done before so while either band will make folks looking for this happy, YUMA has all kinds of options near and dear to the modern man’s heart…the video game theme alone said to me they HAVE to come correct for the men or the whole thing will flop! lol Loved the theme from start and trying to make up my mind (since Fantasy’s Powers frontline which I loved is too rich for my blood) if I am an Apache or Goldeneye! God willing we will meet on the road…which section you want?
