SOCA BRAINWASH 2023

This one is what I call a MEGA fete. Typically, a fete starts small and intimate, and grows. If it get too big, it often starts to return much less value for money as it’s harder to deliver that epic experience equally to all patrons spread out over a large space and in a dense crowd. BUT, every now and then, you find an event that breaks the rule and delivers a good time no matter the size.

Lemmi tell you…Brainwash is HUGE. There were thousands of people out there! The venue however was littered with fun spots to keep things interesting.

There were photo ops with stilt walkers, photo op Booths and even a second dance floor.

Food and drink were not much of an issue either with large bars on either side of the venue.

Although I have to tip my hat to the promoters, I also have to admit I kinda miss the olden days when it was a little smaller. As it stands now, when the crowd in brainwash jumps up, a cloud of dust thick enough to clog any sinus is generated.

In any case, this is one event where you don’t have to fret about wasting your money, buy your ticket confidently!
