The new interactive Jamaica carnival calendar by “I AM SOCA”
For a few years now I have been limping along, trying my best to keep all who are interested, up to date on the fete list for the Jamaica carnival season. Let me tell you, its a tedious process that takes up a lot of time and its also important to be diligent as putting a wrong time could mean someone missing a fete!
Well, at last someone has decided to take this job seriously and keep a PROPER, regularly updated, interactive calendar of the Jamaica carnival landscape. I am thankful, as carnival photography is the way I want to go and need to give up some of these other endeavours in order to focus on that.
BEHOLD, the I AM SOCA Jamaica carnival calendar!!!!!
The calendar is compiled by a local soca lovers team called “I AM SOCA” and has links to each event’s social media and online ticket outlets and even has links to reviews and photos from previous stagings to let newbies know what to expect and the various dress codes.
Check out the tabs at the bottom of the sheet as well that allow you to toggle between the season overview and the weekly view that gives you an easier to digest view of the coming week of activities.
