Carnival Monday with Tribe 2023

After a good Jouvert experience we headed home and scrubbed off all the paint, got some food and geared up to enjoy the first day of the big show. The Canival Monday ROAD!

This year, I had to forgo any alcohol for medical reasons and it was quite a different experience. I still had a great time though. The feeling of chipping down the road with thousands of like minded persons just enjoying life is priceless.

I don’t know if it was just the alcohol free partying or a real thing, but for me, it did feel like the vibes didn’t really take off till after sunset. Did anyone else feel that? Anyways, once it lit up,it stayed lit till the end.
