Heroes weekend is almost here once again. Though not a true soca weekend, the parties are special enough and soca heavy enough that I have annually included them in my party lineup.
The weekend is from Saturday October 18 to the public holiday of heroes day, Monday October 20 this year (2014)
The weekend takes place in Ocho rios with the main highlight being the Frenchmen parties. Frenchmen Nightcap is on Saturday night, and Frenchmen foreplay being the main attraction on the Sunday afternoon.
Yes! They had a Spa IN the fete!
This year I haven’t heard much about other quality parties apart from Ultra beach party being held Saturday afternoon into evening.
At this point none of the parties have started selling tickets yet. As soon as ticket reservations become available I will post to let you know how to reserve yours.
Once again my goto hotels for the season are Riu Ocho rios and The Jewel resort.
Other nearby hotels range from Mystic Ridge to boutique hotels (not food inclusive ) like Hermosa cove (my personal favourite)
If you are visiting Jamaica for this party make sure to take part in some of what Ocho rios has to offer. Its not all parties you know 🙂
