Kadooment day with VXE

It’s been 6 long years since I last jumped up on Kadooment day in Barbados. A lot has changed in the interim.

Vida by Esquire is the new band on the block that I decided to play with for 2024. With a combination of great service, beautiful costumes and a near flawless road execution I have no complaints and can recommend them to you for your next jump up day. They had no hiccups or failures and it made for a great day on the road.

The Kadooment road parade route has also changed with a new, earlier start time and a wider more spacious roads. Lunch was served on the move but was tasty and convenient and this allows you, as an eager masquerader, to maximise your time on the road.

The parade finished at a convenient cool down spot at the beach with a nice set up for food and a last wine. It took seconds to collect the meal which I really appreciated.
