Candy coated party bus to blue range and Caesars army AMbush 2013. Three fete Friday part 2

After Phuket we rushed home to get ready for what has been the highlight of my carnival the last 3 years. The party bus!
We rushed out the house raced round the road and found ourselves stuck in traffic. Fantastic Friday is right across the street from movie town where the bus starts and the traffic there was horrendous. This is the one and only negative for the night….candy coated…find another start point with good parking and no traffic and you will have found party nirvana.

We eventually reached and after a fast and efficient check in process we took up our positions on the back of on of the two buses. Then……

The drinking started.

The bouncing started.

The back of the bus crew was off the chain…we had a great time. The front of the bus crew…not so much. Next time come join us in the back guys!

Blue Range Cooler Fete

We eventually reached blue range cooler fete and the bus crew found a niche and the partying continued. The Lehwego crew started to lose articles of clothing left, right and centre.
The coolers from the bus coalesced into one big supercooler. The vibes in blue range was just right.
I ran into a couple of lehwego fans there. Its really nice to know someone is reading this stuff I’m posting here…thanks for taking the time out to say hi guys.

At about 4am we gathered up our crews and made our way back to the bus. After an impatient wait for stragglers we were on our way. By this point we had been partying for about 14 hours and so the vibe on the bus to ambush was rather more subdued but we had one last hurdle. The hardest and best part of three fete Friday was upon us.

AMBUSH

We reached the secluded and secure location for AMbush a bit before dawn. We were later than usual but there was still lots of time to party. We oiled up with our baby oil and took the shuttle to the starting point.
This year the organizers were not granted permission to use the bamboo cathedral that we usually start at but this didn’t really affect the vibe.

AMBUSH has grown and is now at the largest acceptable size in my opinion. The drinks trucks are adequate but only just so for this size crowd. The Jamaican posse represented fully with lots of people from home in the crowd.
Despite its increased size the vibes remain the same….insane!
I had so much fun at points I didn’t know what to do with myself.
All this in a beautiful location with not…even….ONE…. Stormer!

Alas all good things must come to an end. At about 10am we crawled back to the bus and were graciously delivered back to movie town. The fun and convenience of the party bus cannot be overstated!
