The deeper I move into “veteran” levels of carnival chasing the more I start to appreciate the finer parts of carnival. In future my miami experiences will include only one or two of my favourite fetes, Jouvert and the road.
I can unequivocally let you know that CITRUS is the one fete that I consider essential for Miami carnival. It is the ONE fete in Miami that gives me the same carefree all inclusive vibe I get in Caribbean carnivals.
Thirsty….just walk up to the bar and order.
Hungry….find your fav food station and hold out your hand.
This always translates to a more relaxed and carefree vibe in the fete….and much more fun!
