SocaForever Beach 2023

Soca forever Beach is a new event in the Soca Forever franchise that carries the popular Soca Forever event to the beach, reminiscnent of a popular Carnival week event here in Jamaica. Fort Clarence beach was host to powder and a LOT of water for the soca loving crowd.

The setup was nice with a large water and powder area on the beach and a water free VIP area on the stage infront of the DJ for those who didn’t want to get wet or powdered up.

By the end of the night EVERYONE had sampled at least some of the paint and powder and the socaphiles were wining like rabid animals! Nuff Vibes!

The one complaint I had was the mix of music. Soca Forever has always been a soca fete that played over 90% soca, usually closer to 100%. But this edition there was a healthy helping of dancehall. It was fun and vibesy dancehall but still, I want soca.

All in all it was a fantastic event and the one thing I feel sure of is that the next edition, they will need a BIGGER BEACH!
