This was my first year playing mas and I pray it will never be my last. From young seeing pics and clips of trini carnival I always said this was something I want too do and can’t miss. I never participate in my home carnival only parties but never the parade and I said after being to Trinidad I don’t think the two could ever compare. From the time I hit Mia I was like a child who never saw the world before in the airport singing and wining. I couldn’t wait. When I landed in TNT that was the end of it I was on cloud nine. First day no sleep body not use to it got sick but I didn’t let that get to me.

I made sure that when 2am hit I was up to go to ceasers army. Still feeling sick drank some bitters and I was good to go. Happy I didn’t miss.

Then monday and Tuesday on the road I was on cloud 20. Foot hurting, fever coming on but that still didn’t stop me. Wednesday morning now time to leave I swear I wanted to miss my flight I so didn’t wanted it too end.

Finally made it back too the US and I refuse to go to any parties because I don’t want my high too go. I can’t wait for 2013 God spare life.

Lawd writing this just brought chills and tears too my eyes. Couldn’t spend it any better with great people.
