Immortals J’ouvert by GenXs 2023
After a great time on Sunkissed cruise I took a few hours to rest my weary bones then got up at 2am to start getting ready for GenXs Jouvert. After years of going to the other jouverts we have for carnival in Jamaica I was excited to try something new.
The venue was a simple space and by the time I arrived the paint was already flying. Music was being handled by DJ PUFFY and other proper brand name DJs and the vibes in the event was nice. By the time the trucks rolled out for the amazing road march….the vibes was even nicer!
People! Nah go lie. This is one of the most Fun Jouvert experiences I have ever had. Paint was endless, Vibes nice, wine ah distribute freely, drinks easy to get. On top of that the trucks stopped often to allow us time to JAM. When we got back to the start venue we had a nice simple and tasty breakfast. I just have no complaints about this experience. GenXs has shown that they are here to disrupt the market and cement their place in the Jamaica Carnival landscape, and thats what they have done!
