My Cropover Fete List for 2024!

I’m fully locked and loaded for cropover 2024.

This year marks my return to the sweetest summer festival and I’m excited to see how the carnival has changed and grown.

I’m planning a rerun to some of my favorite events from the past and I’m looking for YOUR suggestions for one more fete to round my event list out.

i arrive on cropover Thursday and at this point it’s looking like straight from the jumbo jet….. I’m just going to bed. Lol

FRIDAY

Mimosa : I last attended this breakfast fete back when it was a small event on a nice lawn. It was a small group of pretty people having a whale of a time back then. It looks like the event has really grown since then. I can’t wait to see the changes for myself.

SATURDAY

Native foreday band: For foreday morning I prefer the non traditional foreday bands. I wanna jam somewhere out in de bush. Native foreday was an authentic Bajan foreday experience that gave me a flawless and fun foreday experience waaaay back when I played with them. I’m looking forward to jumping up with them again.

Bliss: For those who don’t know (true cropover noobies) Bliss is one of the best carnival events….no qualifier….just full stop! It doesn’t matter the cost, just make it there!

SUNDAY:

Limerz cruise: one of my favourite cruises and one of the muses for SUNKISSED in Jamaica, limerz is always a great time on the Caribbean sea. I have some amazing memories from this event and can’t wait to see how they have grown.

MONDAY:

Vida x Esquire: for 2024 I’m jumping with a relatively new band from the promoters of Bliss among others. I’ve heard good things from people who jumped with them last year and I’m looking forward to their experience. Cropovers jump up day has always been a fun but short affair that usually leaves you wanting more at the end. This year I have heard they have an all new route. Here’s hoping this results in more time on the road jamming and less time waiting around to be judged for competition. Fingers crossed!

So that’s my short list compromised of my greatest hits. For those who know the ins and outs of modern cropover, make some suggestions nuh? What should I add. I’m not looking to overdo it but I think I can manage one more event.
